Depending on the surfaces and the damage you have in mind, you will need different accessories. The most important thing to consider is what you will be cleaning with a portable steamer. They are not suitable for cleaning the entire floors, but some can treat carpet stains and carpet cleaning. Other accessories allow you to handle grout, grates, or other surfaces. If you only use it to disinfect and clean stains, you won’t need to think of fancy accessories or silks. Just look for something with a nozzle that will fit where you plan to apply it.
In general, you should get something with a wider nozzle and a well-focused nozzle. These two tools will accomplish most tasks easily.
